About the Opportunity
Syniq Group Services LLC is currently seeking Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) for a 6-month contract assignment at the Denton State Supported Living Center in Denton, Texas.
This role supports individuals with intellectual disabilities and complex medical, mental health, and behavioral health needs in a state-supported living center environment.

Available Shifts
- 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM (3 positions)
- 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (3 positions)
- Sunday – Saturday (alternating schedule based on staffing needs)
Candidates must be able to start any day of the week, allowing 5 days for pre-employment processing.
Contract Term
- 6-Month Contract
- Start date begins once all compliance and clearance requirements are completed
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Administer medications and treatments
- Provide medication education to patients
- Complete documentation accurately and timely
- Perform computer data entry (training provided)
- Comply with ICF-IDD regulations, DSSLC policies, and HHSC standards
- Follow facility Standard Operating Procedures and accrediting agency requirements
Minimum Requirements
- Active, valid LVN license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience
- Must comply with HHSC immunization requirements
- Must submit to required drug screening
- Must complete fingerprinting and background screening
- Must complete required facility and HHSC training
Submission Requirements
Qualified candidates must provide:
- Resume or detailed work experience
- Two professional references (from two different employers, supervisor preferred)
- Current NURSYS report (all licenses must be current)
- Completed skills checklist
- Shift preference (6 AM–2 PM or 2 PM–10 PM)
