We are urgently hiring experienced LVNs to support patient care at the Lubbock State Supported Living Center. These positions are high priority and ideal for nurses seeking stable hours, strong pay, and consistent scheduling.

Schedule Details

• Primary Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Training Period: First 5 weeks
• Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Guaranteed: 32 hours per week
• Alternating shifts may be required to meet staffing needs

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in a clinical residential setting
• Administer medications and treatments
• Educate patients on medications and care plans
• Complete timely and accurate documentation
• Perform computer data entry (full training provided)
• Work under the supervision of RNs and Nurse Managers
• Care for patients with complex medical needs

Required Qualifications

(Must be available at time of interview unless noted)

• Active Texas LVN license
• 1+ year direct care nursing experience (2+ years preferred)
• Strong clinical skills, including:
• Gastrostomy tubes / enteral feedings
• Foley catheters
• Tracheostomies
• Valid photo ID
• TB documentation
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to pass:
• Urine drug screen & background check (candidate-provided)
• FBI fingerprint background check (provided)
• COVID-19 test with negative result required (provided)
