About the Opportunity
Syniq Group Services LLC is currently seeking two (2) Registered Occupational Therapists (OTs) to provide services at the San Angelo State Supported Living Center. This is a minimum 3-month contract assignment with the possibility of extension.
This role supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a state-supported living center environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide skilled therapeutic interventions
- Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed
- Complete documentation and reports accurately and within required deadlines
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings
- Provide training and education to Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and staff
- Assist with program planning for individuals with various diagnoses
- Maintain compliance with HHSC and facility policies
- Practice in accordance with Texas OT licensure rules and regulations
Minimum Qualifications
- Active, current Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the State of Texas
- Must be in good standing with the Executive Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners
- All certifications must remain current throughout assignment
- Maintain required CEUs for licensure
Preferred Experience
- 1–3 years of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
Additional Requirements
- Must comply with HHSC immunization requirements
- Must submit to required drug screening
- Must complete fingerprinting and background screening
- Must complete required HHSC and facility training
